Magnificent views over Lake Hayes during sunset. The luxurious accommodation features a grand, medieval-themed reception room for special events.

Check-in process dragged on for two hours due to payment issues with the POS machine. Breakfast quality fell short. the eggs Benedict had a catered taste from packet sauce, and the selection was lackluster with dried-out cheeses.

The local cuisine was a real treat! The degustation dinner with matched wines was top-notch, showcasing stunning fresh products from the region. The cheese platter and glass of wine in the evening was simply delightful. Plus, the views from our Retreat Suite were breathtaking!

While the dining experience was lovely, I did find the breakfast needed some improvement. A golf cart to navigate the steep hill would have been handy. The tea selection in the room was basic, and I wished for something a bit fancier.
